Sole to Soul Travels - Part 4: Words From Gaia & My Soul
I wrote a lot during and after our time in Sedona.
Journaled, constantly entered thoughts into the ‘note pad’ on my phone, and just let the words that erupted from my soul flow.
I think that’s one of the most beautiful qualities about nature and grounding oneself into Mother Earth;
You connect to the deepest, most pure and authentic parts of yourself.
Your gifts start to shine through.
Your greatest passions and deepest sense of purpose begin to resonate from within.
Some of these words will remain, for now, enclosed in the pages of my journal and bound by the confines of my heart. Some of these words I feel called to share and will do so for the remainder of the context of this entry. I hope some of them speak to you in the exact way you need, in the exact moment you need them. I hope some inspire you, I hope others encourage you, and I hope that perhaps some may ignite the spark for your own creative and energetic gifts to shine through.

Letters From the Plane
If you live a soul-driven life, you will embrace both light and darkness.
It’s not an ‘either-or’ scenario.
If you choose the soulful life, you choose both.
The difference is, when you commit to a life of purpose,
When you devote yourself to living a life of integrity,
When you fully embody the soul and embrace the journey home to self,
Though darkness will always remain,
Light will always prevail
And just like a work of art, contrast creates beauty:
Like the keys of a piano, the light and dark both make music.
If we never knew darkness, we would not discern nor have the same appreciation of the light.
We must learn not to subdue nor negate the darkness, but to embrace and integrate it.
And, when the darkness feels most heavy, lean into the deep-rooted knowing that you ARE light;
It is always within you;
You always have access to the most radiant parts of yourself.
Breath. Release. Remember.
And Keep Shining

Words From a Moment of Self-Doubt, Carrying the Weight of the World
Only I know my truth
The thoughts, words and actions of others are a reflection of their perceptions and the ongoing of their inner world. I don’t own that - any of it.
I own my truth.
It is mine to uphold and mind to honour.
And in that honouring, it is my duty to fight for that truth;
To fight for what I know
In my heart of hearts and soul of souls
To fight for what I know is right
And nobody owns that but me
Nobody can break that but me
So I will stand in my truth
And I will fight for what’s right.
And may that fight include more compassion - for oneself and others
May that fight be carried out with dignity and grace
May that fight be fought from the heart, not through violence, hatred, anger, nor resentment,
But a place of love, hope and a vision for change.

Not the way your soul cried for, but the way the world told you it was ‘supposed’ to be…
You become free
Free from unnecessary stress, worry and pain
Free from fear, doubt and all emotions elicited by living for anyone but yourself
Free from everything you thought you needed to be
Free to stand out in the crowd;
Free to belong rather than merely fit in
Free from the matrix, the programs, the ways of life that shackle your soul and dim your light
Free to rise above;
Free to shine brighter than ever before

Thoughts As I Sit in Reflection on the Red Rock
My Hope for You, and for us all…
I hope life awes you
And I hope you never pass up a chance to take it all in
I hope you never lose reverence for the beauty encompassed both around you and within you
I hope you dream big
And as you set your sights on all that’s yet to be yours, you don’t lose sight of the importance of being fully present in the now
I hope you take time to reminisce in all that you have accomplished, and grant yourself the well-deserved credit for all that you have been and all that you have endured and embraced to become who you are today
I hope you commit to a life of growth,
And that, more often than not, you choose the path less travelled
And when you do opt for the path of least resistance, as we all inevitably will amidst life’s ebbs and flows,
I hope you see it as just that - an opportunity to just go with the flow, to ride the current, and to allow yourself to be better prepared for your next chance to face the rapids head-on
I hope you grow to value time spent in solitude
Just as much as you value time with those you lvoe
I hope you take time to see, to hear, to taste, to feel, and to savour every experience, whether grandiose or small
I hope you also take time to just BE - to give yourself full permission to be ONE - Mind, Body, Soul
They say to live as if you were dying…
Well, we are.
All of us.
In this moment, we are all both living and dying.
The truth is, Heaven is already around us.
This life is what we make of it.
Create your Heaven here and now.
Don’t live waiting to reach it in the afterlife.

Breathe deeply and feel every ounce of air fill your lungs
move your body and feel its power and the energy it beholds
Open your eyes and take in every square inch of your surroundings
Walk barefoot on the Earth and connect - to Her, to yourself, to the Spirit within you and around you
Life is a gift
THIS Life
Right here
Right now
So live it.
